Support tickets take 4-8 weeks right now. You've already provided the information they asked for. Just wait and reply to the same email thread every 2 weeks for follow-up. Do not create new tickets. Do not use another account to post about it (GitHub flags this). Your account is in "limited visibility" mode, not suspended. It will be restored after manual review. Patience is the only solution here. |

Sir, Thank you for your response and for claring that this is likely a limited visibility review and not a suspension. However, it has now been more than 40 days, and I am genuinely worried about the impact this is having on me. I have already provided GitHub Support with all the information they requested regarding the OAuth-related activity and the GitHub extension I was developing. There was absolutely no intention to abuse GitHub services, and I have fully cooperated throughout the review process. I am currently applying for hackathons and internships, and many organizations look at my GitHub profile to evaluate my yearly progress, projects, and contributions. Unfortunately, since my profile is not publicly visible, I am unable to showcase the work I have put in over the years. I have multiple deployed projects, repositories, and competitive programming solutions on my account (ashaygupta-cc), and this situation is significantly affecting my academic and professional opportunities. If possible, I kindly request you to please bring this to the attention of the GitHub team or advise if there is any other way to expedite the review. I would be extremely grateful for any help or guidance. Thank you once again for your time and understanding. |

Hi @ZodiacZ408, This community is managed by GitHub employees, but it is not a support forum. You have done everything necessary on your end by opening a ticket on our Support page. This is a public forum, and the community is unable to assist with nor escalate your ticket, but we can assure you it is in the right place. There are an extremely high volume of Support tickets right now, yours will be answered in the order it was received based on the amount of tickets ahead of yours. Please open only one ticket per request. As no other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions I am going to close this discussion. We appreciate your understanding and patience while Support works through your request! |

Hello GitHub Team,
I am posting from a newly created GitHub account because the account associated with my support tickets is currently not publicly visible.
I am seeking assistance regarding support tickets #4419139 and #4453131, which relate to an OAuth-related account flag/review on my primary GitHub account.
A few weeks ago, I was developing and testing a GitHub extension intended to automate repository synchronization and maintain my competitive programming solutions on GitHub. During development, the extension performed repeated OAuth authentication flows, repository access operations, automated commits, synchronization tasks, and extensive testing while I was debugging and validating the project.
Shortly afterward, my primary GitHub account appears to have been flagged by GitHub's automated abuse-detection systems. While I can still log into the account, the profile is not publicly accessible and returns a 404 page to other users. I understand that the activity may have appeared unusual because of the frequency of OAuth-related operations generated during testing, but there was no intention to abuse GitHub services, spam the platform, bypass restrictions, or violate GitHub's Terms of Service.
GitHub Support previously contacted me requesting clarification about how I planned to use GitHub, and I provided a detailed explanation of the extension, the testing process, and the purpose of the activity. Since then, I have not received any further updates.
For reference:
• Ticket #4419139 was submitted over two weeks ago.
• Ticket #4453131 was submitted as a follow-up regarding the same issue.
• I have replied to the support emails and provided the requested information.
• The account remains inaccessible to other users, while I am still able to log in.
I completely understand that the Support team may be handling a large volume of requests, and I appreciate the work involved in reviewing these cases. I would simply be grateful for any update regarding the status of the review, confirmation that the tickets are still being processed, or notification if any additional information is required from my side.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Ashay Gupta
